This Week's Top 20 Reported Domain Name Sales

It was another exceptionally strong week for the domain name after market as there were an abundant number of five-figure sales reported. Topping the reported listed this week was DirtBike.com at $75,950. Vegans.com was right on its tail at $73,000 to take the #2 spot and an IDN .de, übersetzer.de rounded out the top three reported domain name sales of the week at a strong €19,500 ($23,672). This is one of the top if not the top IDN sale that we have seen reported thus far and again it is a .de nonetheless. It will be interesting to see if any of the tier 1 IDN .coms are sold and reported just to get a gauge on what they might ultimately start to bring.

Sex.com was also reported to have sold this week as well for between $12-$14 million dollars but the exact figure and details are still unknown at this time.

"World" domain names are still hot and two managed to make it into the top 20 reported domain name sale of the week including; PornWorld.com (5. - $20,101) and DecoratingWorld.com (17. - $10,065).

Another standout sale was Titten.ch at €10,500 ($12,746). Dot-ch is the ccTLD of Switzerland and it appears to be one of the highest reported .ch we have ever seen.

14. Kleinanzeigen.com - €10,000 = $12,139 (Expired Domain Name)
